Can someone please recommend a few Clex-fics?

Time to go to bed. However, I just watched the Clex vid Bonibaru recommended and now I feel the need for a few nice Clex stories - something nice that I can read tomorrow.

I've read less than a dozen Smallville fics so far. I'm sure there are many more great stories out there, waiting for me - stuff like 'The Butterfly Effect' (whoa!) and the body-switching story by Te or Kita (sorry, I don't remember who wrote it, but it was great).

Are there some absolute must-reads? Medium length, clex-y and not too dark? Please can you recommend your favorites to me?

Gratuitous whine

Still in a foul mood. Unable to write. Too many WIPs, I think:

Perdition, Will (Spike/Willow flashfic), Flight of Fancy, Sifting Through the Wreckage, 2x Sixty Minutes (1x fluff, 1x sequel), Flashfic-a-thon story. And I have to write an original fiction till the end of the month.

Plus Marcee has asked me to get started on the next chapter of Things Present - Things Past. She's too busy to write her scene.

Daughter number 2 is constantly naughty, never does what she's told. Husband is in a bad mood. I hate Saturdays.

My first tiny little Smallville fic!

Hah, I'm not in the writing zone today, but at least I wrote a tiny weenie bit.

A few days ago I encouraged everybody to write nanofics, i.e. stories of 55 words exactly (plus title). Today I wrote another one and lo and behold, it's my first Smallville-fic.


Destiny

He can no longer look at white roses without thinking of the old lady. Her hand felt cold and dry, fragile, bony fingers tightening briefly around his. He lays the flowers on her grave. A year later, Lex still wonders what Cassandra Carver saw, and when the future that killed her will come to pass.
