Family blah, which then becomes a green crusade

The hubby love is strong today. Which is good, because we have enough RL shit going on for us to get cranky and snap at each other. Except we aren't cranky. Maybe for once my hormone induced funks do *not* coincide with RL troubles. Anyway, the hubby is generally cute and totally kissworthy today. The kids are sweet too. Maybe it's the weather. The heat wave is over, now it's pleasant. We still need rain, though. My wrist feels better too.

Unfortunately I won't have time to write a lot today, Saturdays are always family days, but in the back of my head I can hear Spike and Xander bicker.

And now, without a segue: did you know that the average US American spends twice as much electricity than the average German?

I still haven't written that essay for demonmagnet. I'm a bad bad Estepheia.
And here I am, with more requests for icon-y goodness...
Could someone please please make an animated icon for me using: punk!Spike, FFL-Spike and Beneath You-Spike, with all three of them twirling the pipe/cue-stick/pipe? I have no idea for a punchline, but I love the visual parallel, which, I'm certain, was entirely intentional.
I want to use it as my default icon, because Kiss the Librarian is also used by another user. I'd like to have something unique. Please???

And I feel like I need a new S/X icon too. With the amount of S/X stuff I post I feel like I should use something shiny. My old one comes from Jess's site, ficbitch com, but it's kinda blah. I'd like something that captures both the animosity and the occasional buddy-vibe. No idea for a punchline either. Maybe I don't need one...

So, if anyone feels like helping me out....
I still owe various people stories, but if you're patient I'll try to reward you for your efforts somehow....

Am still translating. Darn. I'd rather answer comments in my LJ and read my friends' posts, but alas, today I really have to be good. At least for a few more hours. :-(
