Ouw! I hurt my back. Dunno what I did, but I can't bend over or lift things. Hopefully, a bit of rest will fix thing. Alas, rest is not on today's menu. It's my busy Wednesday with teaching classes and tripping over noisy children.

May I remind all authors who signed up for the friendship ficathon but have not yet posted their stories or notified me of delays to let me know whether they still intend to post stories. I would like to give all orphaned requests up for adoption. Let me know if you have to drop out while I still have a chance to find kindly disposed replacement writiers.

Personally, I think we have a good ratio. 38 40 stories got posted already, 16 14 stories are 'officially' delayed, 3 authors 'officially' dropped out in time to be replaced. That leaves 8 stories unaccounted for (or something like that, I may have overlooked one or two). On Friday I will post the assignments that look orphaned and that were requested by authors who already submitted their stories. I am determined to make sure that people get their stories, even if I have to write them myself!

Speaking of writing myself... Let's Talk About Sex is now rewritten up to chapter 6. I can see from my archive stats that some of you guys read them already, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Hopefully, I'll have the time to rewrite and archive chapter 7 today.
Occasionally, when I feel a bit down, I check out the hit-counter of my site, and then I chuckle, because you can tell just from the numbers which of the stories or story chapters contain smut, and which ones don't. Cues and Balls, Pandoraverse, and Hell Can Wait have the most hits....

Right, I better cook lunch now... Toodles.

MARCH, FEBRUARY, JANUARY, DECEMBER

This month's RL - the abbridged version: Toyah spent a few days in hospital due to a very nasty stomach bug; I stayed with her while super-hubby took care of the other daughter and the house. Apart from the time I spent in hospital, I spent hours in the garden, weeding; taught English; played creative writing juror; had a pretty active social life; watched way too much TV; started watching Branagh movies with a friend every Sunday; tidied up a lot, and devoted more time than usual to the family. I was under the weather a few times, but not actually depressed. Yay. Unfortunately I didn't really get into the writing groove. Oh well, I guess that's asking too much.
