I finally finished my Secret Slasha assignment and sent it off. Yay me. Many thanks to ladycat777, firehorse, xanpet2000 and mikelesq. They all helped with encouragement, betaing and morale boosting when assignment v.1.0 didn't quite work out.

Today I followed a link to adult fanfiction net and came across fanfiction so squicky, it's beyond bad. Bleagh! I am still trying to cleanse my memory. Would you believe there are people who write fic in which Buffy gets raped by the Mummy hand? Or raped by the Übervamp. Yuk!!!! EEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!

Hey Estephia,
I had to comment on this because it's something that I've encountered myself on occasion. I can understand why some authors take things to the line, often they are working out issues of their own. I just don't understand what takes others over it, the desire to squick people surely can't be the only answer! Not people I would want to meet.

Just to change the subject entirely, any chance of more 'Perdition ...' before Christmas?

Nope, sorry. Got too caught up in my Secret Slasha... But thanks for asking. I was wondering if people are actually hankering for new parts.

As soon as the house is an aunty-free zone again, I will get back to writing... Most of the next chapter of Perdition is already written, has been for weeks, but I can't get the beginning of the chapter to work... But I haven't given up on that story.

The only time I gave up on a story was a round robin. Marcee and myself ended up writing on our own... We decided to start a fic from scratch instead of finishing what other people had started.
