If I'm supposed to get this translation done I need to either step away from the Net, which I don't want to, or trim my friends list a bit. And boy, it's hard. Please, don't take this personally, I may add people again once the job's done, but until then I have to cut down on my LJ time....
If you've wanted to defriend me but didn't dare to, today is a good day. I must admit, I always wonder why people defriend me and go: did I become boring, do they hate my fic? Is it something I said or did? That's why I'm saying: I'm cutting down because I need more time to work. :-)

I think the friends list is a misnomer. It isn't all friends, it just means journals you want to see updates in. So if I were on somebody's friends list and they defriended me, I wouldn't be insulted, because I could still keep them on mine and see the updates.

Don't feel bad - dealing with RL pressures is bad enough!

So sorry to hear that it's such a busy time right now. Do what you need to in order to give yourself some flexibility -- it would be nice for you to take breaks and turn up on LJ to see what's new. Hope all goes well with the translation.

I am not interested in fandoms like Johnny Depp, PotC, Alias, HP or LotR. That's where I'm making the cuts. :-)

*hugs you* Yes, take time for yourself, for your work, for your family, for whatever you need. LJ shouldn't be adding to your stress, so cutting back is probably a very good idea.
