I just watched a very stylish British six-part series about vampires called Ultraviolet. A lot of suspense, a bit of an X-Files-vibe and ambiguity until the very end - highly recommendable.

I was amazed how the makers of that show managed to come up with new twists on the good old vampire myth. Very smart!

That is a cool show. I totally ripped it off for the whole backstory in Future Imperfect. I heard a while back that they were working on an Americanized version, but I haven't heard anything since. Probably just as well. A Hollywood version would probably just screw it all up.

A friend turned me on to Ultraviolet, and I found it intelligent, compelling, and wonderful. I'm glad that you did too. :-)
