estepheiaI know, I know, you're probably all sick of the subject already, but I wanted to let everybody know that I archived the first 5 chapters of Dealing at my site (without reposting them here in my LJ). It's still a WIP, about half finished.
You can find the chapters listed here. Maybe you read this story a year ago when it was first written, but I'd like to point out that a) I tinkered with the characterisation, b) polished the language a little c) wrote more. I ínserted whole scenes, and I added a new scene at the end. Believe me when I tell you it's a much better story now.
You may leave feedback at my site or you could comment in this thread. If you spot mistakes or inconsistencies, please let me know. Help is always greatly appreciated.
It's odd, I'm proud of this story because it's a darn strange (and difficult) pairing to write, but it's probably my least read story, along with my Riley drabble, my Fred ficlet, my Tara dark-ficlet, and my Lilah/Wes ficlet. The pairing just doesn't push people's buttons, I guess. Oh well, as long as I enjoy writing them.... I will finish this sucker, even if it kills me.
Incidentally, according to my hit counter, the most read story is, Artistry (S/A), followed by the Pandoraverse stories, Mind over Matter (Spike/Gunn/Illyria), other S/X stories and my two Firefly ficlets.
Oh, I should probably list the story in the usual format:
PAIRING: Ethan/Lindsey
RATING: NC-17 for slash and sexual content.
GENRE: Character study, angst, porn with plot, with a tiny dose of hurt/comfort.
SPOILERS: Set during S6 of BtVS, shortly before Seeing Red and during S3 of AtS - Lindsey left W & H a year ago, Ethan got locked up by the Initiative more than two years ago…
