Maybe this isn't the place to say this, but I'm so glad that I got a chance to meet you at Writercon (I'm the little chubby redhead that hung about with Tania). I'll always associate you with blueberry pancakes that weren't blueberry pancakes. And I can't quite remember what food you said you should put applesauce with but I remember sputtering a bit. *g*

The applesauce goes with potatoe pancakes which are like hash brownies if I remember correctly. Yum.

Anyway, I'm glad I stumbled over your story because it really feels very Spike-y. Not many people manage to make him sympathetically needy and kinda creepy and not-so-nice in one and the same scene or story.
