My kids used to be really nice to each other, with the occasional argument, but lately all they do is fight and my eldest keeps shouting at everybody, especially me. She can't accept criticism of any kind. *sigh* And the youngest lies about everything. She is so self-centered, she feels entitled to everything. She won't share anymore, never does anything we ask her to do, will only get dressed if I threaten to drag her to kindergarten in her nightgown, never tidies up,always cheats at board- or card games, always hits her elder sister, who then hits her back... This is driving me nuts. They are both sweet individually, but in tandem I find them really horrid. They used to get on so well, and they still have brief moments of fondness for each other, but this sibling rivalry is driving everybody insane.
And the shrill voices and the constant shouting? Make me want to gag them.

Date: 2004-09-21 09:23 am (UTC)My eldest is 7 and she is awfully ambitious. She knows she's smart, and I don't want her to become arrogant. She had the best grades in her class and knows it, and now she thinks that she is top dog. Ack.
*bangs head on desk*
