Something just clicked. The Dealing section I gave sangpassionne to read, the one she said worked, well, yeah, it works, but it's not quite what I want. And I know how to fix it, how to turn that section into a better moment. I am in the zone, grooving. Only...
Today I won't have time to write. Have to make lunch, feed kids, check their homework, then take them to the Christmas fair.
No fair!

I missed more Dealing! I'm going to go find it and reread it from the beginning. You were firmly established in UST territory last I recall. I also remember a foreboding sense of doom on the horizon.

Life certainly has a way of putting a strangle hold on the artistic energy, doesn't it? I do hope you and the kids had a memorable time at the Christmas Fair though.

Wait wait wait, don't read the old LJ chapters. If you want to reread, go for the version in my archive. I made several changes to the earlier chapters before archiving them, some tiny, some rather important. :-)

I'm glad you're still enjoying ths series. Yes UST territory, although one of the two will finally get some in the upcoming installment.
The sense of doom is already identified in 9b. :-)

The Christmas fair was fun, so yeah, it wasn't a great sacrifice or anything, but afterwards the groove was gone and all that was left was a sense of drudgery. But I did write and I think I may have managed to make most of the necessary fixes. If Josey gives her thumbs up I will post the next chunk soon.

I hope it's soon because I have to write a Spangel AU for Josey's ficathon. Pronto. *panics*
