Whoohoo, a postcard from [livejournal.com profile] drc1 arrived today! Thank you, dear, for a much needed laugh.
Went into town with 88 y/o auntie today - in crap weather. Bought a few more gifts for the kids (a nightie and a sweater each) and I had the best hot chocolate ever. Yum. With icecream and whipped cream. Awesome.
Most of the groceries shopping got done today. Forgot toilet paper, so tomorrow I'll have to go to the small supermarket round the corner... Oh well. I'll live.
Hubby is off to buy more fishies for Tina.
The kids decorated the tree. It's a beautiful sight - although the room is littered with boxes of left over xmas decorations.
Am exhausted.
Still haven't found the right prezzie for one or two people. Bah.

Hot chocolate with ice cream? Sounds sinful. I mean that in a good way, of course!

Oh it was, it was. Yum. I can't wait to sin again. It's a fairly new proprieter in an old ice cream parlor - so I never had one of these before.... Whoa, so good.

Totally OT, do I recall that you are working on, were working on, or at one time toyed with the notion of working on a non-fanfic novel?

Sorry about the late reply.
I have three non-fanfic projects:
- Family Tree, a vampire novella spanning a hundred years
- Ankh-Nehet's daughter - a story about a young runaway priestess in a pseudo-egyptian setting (fantasy novel)
- Argurin's tomb - a fantasy novel about two pseudo-Scottish soon-to-be priests in a Norse culture who are hired to find a young bard who disappeared during a treasure hunt

*sigh*
I haven't looked at either of these in ages. I want to finish my fanfic, well most of it anyway, so I can concentrate more freely on my non-fanfic. I need the closure, the feeling that I finish what I start. Also, I hate disappointing my readers.

Ahh, sweetie, I was hoping you'd love it and it'd make you smile. Uli Stein's cartoons are always great fun.:-)
