estepheia: (Dealing 2)

I feel like a great Western railroad company. I'm building a track through the Rocky Mountains and I'm drilling a long tunnel - from both ends. After a lot of hardship and patient drilling the tunnel is almost completed, when suddenly... it becomes obvious that the two sections of tunnel don't meet but run parallell to each other. Ick. Meaning my two dangly Dealing chunks don't meet, unless I come up with something clever. Only I don't feel clever right now.*bangs head on desk.* I think I better turn in before I drop. Nite nite.

I understand completely. Since you are in Germany, you may not know this great Gene Fowler quote:

Writing is Easy. Just sit and look at a blank piece of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.

Too true! Hang in there, your stuff is great.

Thank you, dear. Never heard the quote but it's very apt. LOL.

Hey goody. Also? Bah, I wonder why it took so long. I'm glad it reached you. Thanks for letting me know. :-)

I don't know why it took so long--you had the address completely correct, yet there was a sticker on it by the post office saying something about there being no proper forwarding information. So the US post office somehow messed it up. But at least it finally arrived.

It is almost enough to make you just lay track to another destination. Suddenly, one story becomes two...tada!

Now, for my next trick...

LOL. :-) Glad I'm not the only one who gets trippde up by the flow of the story. :-)

No tada for me though. If I have to write another Lindsey/Ethan I am going to hurl myself off a cliff.

Know that feeling. I came up with a great Lorne line that I was determined to fit into a story I'm doing for the [livejournal.com profile] connotations zine. It's taking a lot of tweaking to fit it into the conversation, even though it's perfect for him and the situation.

Good luck!

Oh I know what you mean, I had that, tweaking and writing ten pages just so a precious piece of diealogue could take place. Guilty as charged. LOL.
Good luck with yours.

Thanks.

I'm being very experimental at the moment. With this one I plan to keep the two halves of the slash pairing in separate coffee shops (with one half of the platonic pairing each) until the last-but-one scene). And I need to come up with more 'Directives of the New Watchers' Council' for scene headings yet.
