Took Tina to a ballet school today for a trial lesson. She liked it a lot (possibly because two of her friends are just starting ballet at the same school), and I was told that she has potential and that her body tension is good, however, the lessons are expensive, over 30 EUR per month, through the holidays, even when no lessons take place, for one hour per week. Plus I didn't like the haughty tone. Plus the ballet school is a stonethrow away from Braunschweig's brothel mile, a seedy area that is unsuited for little girls unless they have adult company.
Mr. E would like Tina to learn to play a musical instrument instead. Have to think about this.
Mr. E picked us up from the ballet school and we went to IKEA which made the kids happy. They could play while Mr. E and I ordered our new bed. Whooohooo. That means we now have to renovate the bedroom. About time too.
On the whole I had a good afternoon out, but I have to admit that I would have preferred to finish my current. WIP. Oh well, will now try to get back into my earlier groove.
