Holy Freakazoid!

Wow, what an episode. Well written, creepy, exciting, even though there was hardly any action. I never heard of the two writers who scripted this, but darn it was good!

When I heard they were going to bring Angelus back I wasn't impressed. Boy, was I ever wrong. While Con/Cord really squicked me when it happened I now see why it did. How could I ever miss the Oedipus angle? Dumb Estepheia! Anyway, I feel more than compensated for the torture of watching Connor bone Cordelia by Angelus's vicious references to that event. Can't wait to see the next episode.

Five out of Five.

This was so much better than the last few Buffy episodes!
Someone replace the cadre of Buffy writers with new blood, please. Now! Or maybe Joss himself should condecend to writing some episodes for the show that made him a big name...

I'm not sure if the new LJ rules are going to affect me. Appartently they are limiting the amounts of posts one can produce per day: posts, not comments.
But I do wonder if it counts as more than one post if I edit something I've previously written.

So, how's my fanfiction going?

Yesterday I finished a little PWP for [livejournal.com profile] ladycat777 called Pandora's Closet (yeah, Spike/Xander, what else is new). And what am I doing today? Making it longer? I need to get my head examined.

At least Marcee seems to be working on Things Present - Things Past. She asked me a few questions but I haven't seen the results of her endeavours yet. It would be nice to get this one finished. I just hope she gives me something to work with soon. Especially since Perdition is a little recalcitrant right now.

Word, Estepheia. Soulless was awesome.

They also wrote Supersymmetry, that Fredcentric episode from earlier this season.

Hee. Your icon made me laugh out loud. Thank god I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when I saw it.

Thank you, thank you, Harmony. I got it from a lovely person (sihaya09) at buffy_icons. I chortled when I saw it and knew I had to have it. I'm glad it brings joy to others as well.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think that was quite as good, but not a bad episode either. Why oh why doesn't Buffy get a decent bunch of new writers?

re: limiting posts

Paid members have a limit of 20 posts (not comments, thank the gods) per 24 hours. I think I can stay within the limit. Unpaid have a limit of...3, I think. I just have to wonder who is posting more than 20 posts a day. Amazing to think that out there are people who have less of a life than I do. ;)
