Ooosie it's Friday.

This week went by much too fast. Probably because I was writing most of the time (with some TV and a few boardgames thrown in for variation).
I wrote 2 fics in one week! Two! Wheee! "Sixty Minutes" and "Pandora's Closet." Both Spike/Xander slash. Hmmmm. And one seems to need a sequel because EVERY single reviewer wanted one. That will teach me to end a story on a sad note.
Is that normal? The shout for sequels? Or is that just formulaic for "kinda nice"?
And why do I seem stuck with Spike/Xander? I have Perdition to continue - Spike/Xander. I have a plot bunny in my head - Spike/Xander. Things Present - Things Past requires a friendshippy scene with (you guessed it) Spike and Xander. Hmmm.
Why do I write about the male characters all the time? Probably because I currently feel like strangling ALL the female Jossverse characters for whineyness, stupid decisions and for being boring like hell! Okay, I take it back. I still like Lilah, maybe Faith. Some of the SiTs are cute. They at least have a sense of fun and get a few snarky lines every now and then.
For a series that is supposedly all about female empowerment, the female characters are surprisingly bad role-models. And boring.
