Had a great day. Went to University to meet with my 'boss', i.e. the lady who green-lighted one of my two courses. I now have a key for the premises. *wibble* I started reading skimming The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creative Writing (entertaining but a bit shallow; not bad for beginners).

I have a new icon. *points* See? essene made it for me. *clutches icon to bosom; pets icon*

Watched the Rince Samhain dress rehearsal. They have a big performance on Friday. I'm proud of Mr. E - he has really learnt a lot over the past year. The entire dance team is great. We also have a few guest dancers from Stuttgart. The show will rock. There will be several kick-ass hard shoe numbers. I love Irish tap dancing. *sigh* And Lord of the Dance music always makes me cheerful.
(And I'm frightfully proud of Tina, who is getting better and better. One day she'll be a wonderful dancer.)

I'm relieved that my recent bleak mood isn't permantent. PMS rather than full-blown depression.
Didn't write my three morning pages today, but for once I don't feel utterly guilty about it. Yay. Maybe I'll do them in bed...

I did see this book myself while I was in the UK and thought it to be a little funny... Now (after 5 rejection letters this month) I wonder if I should read it...

Yeah that's 5 down and 7 to go... After that I need to look again at who might want my book... The problem being that most agents and publishers are not really looking for new writers, just more from the same :-(

But I will soldier on... If this book doesn't get published then maybe the next will... Over hopeful, that's me...
