Pairing: Angel & Giles

Summary: Of course it’s death that brings them together. Buffy’s death.
Spoilers: post-Gift
AN: 2200 words - written for Mer aka stakebait. This is what she asked for: “Giles/Angel: Any time after BTVS season 2, dealing (or deliberately not dealing) with what Angelus did to Giles.”

I am now looking for someone who can give punctuation and grammar as well as style a proper betaing. I'm worried that my English is getting a little rusty.
The story was supposed to be slashy, but isn't. No smut, no slash. Just angst.
