estepheiaI got a single red rose from Mr. E. :-) He hates flowers (he's allergic to plant life in all shapes and sizes), so it's quite a concession. *happy sigh* I love my man.
Had a splendid day. Threw several really horrid sweaters away. Why on earth didn't I do that sooner? Tidied up the kitchen. And then I had to attend the parents' council of our school and my good mood went 'poof'. The new legislation will erode our schools even further. Bah.
Oh well, the evening improved, once Mr. E had listened to my rant...
We watched Coach Carter tonight. We like sports movies, even though we're not into basket ball. This one was a bit soap boxy, but I liked the things it had to say. Still, I have issues with authoritarian figures like your average US sports movie coach. Are coaches really like that?
