Whee! I received an anonymous, virtual red rose, which you can admire in my userinfo. I have no idea who the rose is from, but whoever you are? THANK YOU. *smooch*
Happy Valentine's Day
It seems today is my lucky day:
The contract came back today. Meaning: the appartment is ours. Yay! All the finger crossing has worked. Could ask you guys to cross your fingers a little longer? Getting out of our current contract might involve expensive pitfalls. Will keep you posted.
I sold a handful of books, earning enough to buy a good book for a friend's b-day. And then I donated all the books I couldn't sell. Yay. Since I still have about 2000 books in the house, if not more, that doesn't make a great difference, space-wise, but it's a start.
I also bound my course handouts into a very neat folder. Very tidy, very organized. Very yay me.
I bought a second hand bicycle for 15 EUR. Also, hubby bought me a new scooter from ebay. So, I'm more mobile now.
And a friend offered to babysit the kids tonight, so hubby and I can go and see a movie - which won't cost us a penny, because we still have cinema vouchers. Yay yay yay! Not sure if we should watch The Geisha (bad reviews but bound to be pretty) or the new Ralph Fiennes something or other about a gardener that got very mixy reviews... What do you say?

Date: 2006-02-14 02:09 pm (UTC)Have a great day! Oh, and I'm still thinking about the prompt fic for you - I'm still going to write it, I'm just thinking still!

Date: 2006-02-14 02:31 pm (UTC)As for the prompt. I'll gladly read whatever Firefly fic you come up with. I loooove h/c fics, and I love the Jayne/Simon pairing best, but I know that the muse is often fickle. If my request fires up your imagination, that's great, but don't feel pressured...
I loved Glass Walls, I read it at least 5 times. I'll gladly read it again. :-)
Have you read
