Naruto fanfic

I just found out that daughter #1 is writing Naruto m/m romantic fanfiction (in German, though). *is proud*
She also bought herself an Akazuki coat and a red wig and is now dressing up as Gaarra or Sasori (whoever they are). She sure is her mom's daughter. :D
I am still working on Broken English - a snail is speedy gonzales, compared to my writing, but still....
Attended a fantasy writing workshop last weekend. Didn't learn one tiny little bit that I didn't know already. bah!
Ended up with two story prompts that sound remotely like fun - but not original enough to persue. The author who gave the workshop was nice and fun, but it was an event for beginner's, not my thing. Plus, I find her published book pretty unimpressive. Can't understand why a publishing house went for it... oh well.
Continued finger crossing would be greatly appreciated for my manuscript which I sent off to three different publishing houses.
Need a few clones. One to do fannish writerly stuff and one to do household and work.
Sometimes I miss the times when I didn't have a job. I had so much time for wiriting. Plus I was younger then, not always tired after 3 pm. *sigh*

Katharina is 14, that's old enough, I suppose. Wow, doesn't time fly....

The other day I told a RL friend about writercon and about the great times we had when fandom was still very alive and kicking. *sigh*

Date: 2011-05-26 04:19 pm (UTC)Writercon was fun, wasn't it. That fandom was so strong. I've messed about at the edges of others, but it's not the same. Right now I'm doing some forum RP (role play) which is a different style of writing to what I'm used to. The nice thing is there's no comment competition. The only feedback comes from those you're playing with in the form of more story. I kind of like it. Low pressure, you know.

Date: 2011-05-26 06:39 pm (UTC)After the death of my grandma, everything slowly came apart. I didn't notice it for a long time.
Currently, I'm feeling better. Apparently, my dosage of thyroid meds was not what it should have been, and I believe that my hormone coil slowly ate up my brains, but now that it's out and I'm taking twice the amount of thyroid hormones I'm feeling better. Not creative, but better.
Funny how we're ruled by body chemistry.
I'm sorry that your life lacks highs. *hug* The BTVS fandom was so exciting it swept all the lows away. I wish there were another fandom to love with quite the same fervour, but I guess BtVS was my first love, fandom wise...
