Once Upon a Time...

... looks promising! Yay! I really enjoyed the second episode. The fairy tale scenes look a bit camp, but the Storybrooke scenes make up for it. Also, Robert Carlyle is great.
And now for something completely different: I remember reading a BtVS fanfic series set during S7 with Giles/Ethan rebuilding the Council of Watchers/finding potentials everywhere. I wanted to reread it, but now I don't remember the author. I thought it was maybe
kindkit's series, but I couldn't find it, and I don't remember the title... So, if you remember it (or wrote it) please let me know where I can find it... Thanks!

Date: 2011-11-02 04:44 pm (UTC)And THANK YOU *squee* for enquiring about my G/E WIP.
Well, the next section of Broken Engish is finally done (took me ages, I know).
I haven't posted the next chapter yet, because I want to iron out the next road block first. I want to be able to post the remaining chapters within a short period of time.
I no longer have a beta to chat with on aim and to discuss the kinks, that makes it harder to make decisions where I'm uncertain. Plus, my English is so rusty these days... :(
After the unposted chapter there's a tiny chunk still missing, then there's anhother smallish section that is finished, followed by another gap, a very long finished section (that I am really really happy with), another small gap, and then, finally, a sketchy ending, with most of the dialogue done but without the descriptions.
It would be easier, if I watched the show again. The images and voices are slowly fading from memory. I used to know the shows so well... *sigh*
But since you're still asking for it.... I promise, I'll do my best. :)

When you are ready to post the next chapter, I suggest you put up a post linking to all the previous parts first and give people a day to catch up. And please don't be put off if there's not that much f/b. There's an awful lot less of it all over these days. I think I'm going well if I get 10 comments from readers.
And if you have any questions about use of English please don't hesitate to ask me. I'd be happy to help.

Date: 2011-11-02 07:45 pm (UTC)I don't really expect f/b - it's been such a long time, and many readers have wandered off to different fandoms. Plus it's not a pairing that pulls in large crowds...
But maybe I'll catch one or two new readers, who knows.
Yes, I'll post links to all the previous parts, so people can catch up. Good idea. :)
As soon as daughter #2 stoppes watching her craptastic tv program I'll try to get a bit of writing done. The PC is in the living room, so I am only undisturbed when the family has gone to bed... ;-)

Tarnished by Trekker - I really enjoyed that when it came out. Seems like ages ago. I think it was a nanowrimo story....
