Fanfic by Isabelle

Just wondering, does Isabelle still write fanfic? I heard her site Carnal Sins is gone (it was hers, wasn't it?)

I always thought her plotting was fine but her style sucked, but I did enjoy some of the more cinematographic aspects of her story-telling. Her stories often read like outlines of novels except that she went into great detail to describe the clothes the characters were wearing. :-)
But she did create interesting original characters and had good ideas.

Anyway, It just occured to me that I haven't seen any of her fics plugged in a long long time. I feel totally out of the loop.

I was just thinking about her the other day. I haven't heard from her or of her in ages.

As for her writing - Her imagery of Spike in the first few chapters of 100 years of solitude will always stick in my head. That is the only fic where the incorporated songs actually didn't annoy me.

The other day I heard "it's all coming back to me now" and I cried. I actually cried. Because it reminded me of the Spike's pain of living 100 years without Buffy.

I'm pathetic.

I guess that was me channelling Anya. I am one of those Germans who give our people a bad name for being rude. I never learned to be polite or diplomatic without great effort. I just tend to blurt out what I think. The plus side is that if I say I like something I really really mean it.
