18 years ago, Mr. E and I tied the knot. Tonight he's taking us to see the fireworks world championship in Hannover. Yay!
To commemorate the anniversary I should probably try to write some porn...

I like both pairings. I've written several Spike/Anya fics and find them easy to write, but Jayne/River feels more transgressive and intriguing. I have an equality kink, I like it if the characters have to negotiate the terms of their tryst. Jayne and River are both strong in their own way, that's what makes the pairing interesting.

Hubby seems to be leaning towards Jayne/River... :-)

I would. But then any relationship sub-plots I write tend to be more domestic than explicit these days anyway (especially since the main thing I'm working on at the moment is young adult).

Mr. E and I had a fun evening at the fireworks. I love fireworks. I'm wondering if I should plant the idea of becoming a pyrotechnician in my kids' brains. Currently, Katharina is planning on becoming a paleontologist and Vicky wants to be a hairdresser....

I like Spike/Anya just fine, but somehow I don't find them at all . . . exciting. Whereas Jayne/River? Definite possibilities.

I have a half-written Spike/Anya/Xander fic lying around somewhere. Maybe I'll finish that and do the Jayne/River one on top.

I just hope I'll find a few hours to write tomorrow. Lately, RL has a tendency to eat up all my time - and my brain. :-)

We had a wonderful time at the fireworks. 25 minutes of fantastic fireworks. Just awesome.
Plus the kids were well-behaved. And we saw a cabaret/juggler show. All in all, a good day.

I'm glad you had a great day. I didn't even know there was such a thing as fireworks world championships! Sounds awesome, though.

I hope that one day I'll have the chance to listen to Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks *with* fireworks. That should be wonderful.
