Yup, I'm still alive

In case anyone is wondering whether I'm still among the living: Yup, I am. *waves*
Am I still writing? Yes, occasionally. Not fanfic, though. Also, mostly in German.
How do I waste my time these days? Hubby and I play lord of the rings online. Sometimes I play Pokemon with the girls (now 10 and 13).
Our entire family is still spending a lot of time on our Irish Dance hobby.
Hubby and I have more or less given up on TV. We're watching the new Doctor episodes, and we've started watching Buffy S4 with the girls. Other than that we have no clue which new series are worth watching. I miss Buffy. I miss Firefly. I miss fandom. I miss you guys. *sigh*
It's strangely reassuring to know that you guys are still out there. *waves*

Date: 2010-06-13 08:28 pm (UTC)Heh. Yes. I miss the early 2000s, when fandom was so vibrant, and every day I could find brilliant new meta and fanfic. I think it was just a unique period of time, though, a confluence of brilliant programming and brilliant women coming together. But oh my God, it was exciting while it lasted, and I can honestly say the experience changed my life.
I'm happy to hear that you have continued to write. You are so talented.
